Montreal trip with Parents-in-law April 02, 03 / 2011

It was a such great trip with Parents-in-law since they came to Canada last August. Parents were working hard on "nanny jobs", then it was their turn to have two day off. Hehehe :D

We left home early on April 02 and drove straight to Montreal. It was a 2 hour drive, hence, parents wouldn't be too tired.

Right after we were in Montreal, we stopped by the church on the way to Mont Royal Mountain. The church is HUGE and nice. Since Dad has came to Nortre Dame Church, he thinks this church is not nicer as the Nortre Dame one.

The following pictures were taken outside the church, inside the church and also on the balcony of the church.

We spent more than 2 hours to check out every single angle of the church, and then we all were so hungry. As I were googling before the trip, I asked hubby to drive us to one of the best Vietnamese restaurant named Pho Tay Ho. Each of us had one great bowl of Pho, and Hubby and Dad shared Fried Ice-cream together.:D

Now, we were so FULL. We headed to the hotel for a nap. I and Mom were planning for a facial and spa therapy, but we didn't book appointment before, we had to wait for the next day at 9:30AM. :(

After a short nap, we drove to Old Montreal and walked around for some nice pictures (photo time again :D, I love taking pictures, yeah.........)

And it was dinner time again. We were about to have dinner at the Key, but the waiter asked us to wait an hour for a table. Hichic........I couldn't wait for that long. Therefore, we had to walk all the way down to the end of the town and were attracted by a great deal for dinner at one restaurant. Here are what we had for our dinner

After dinner, we went to one place that we couldn't tell you where we went, only us knew that place. Hehehe :D. And after a long day, we all had a good night. It was great.

In the next day, we had lunch with our friends who came from Winnipeg and are currently living in Montreal. We also went to visit Parents' friends who live in Montreal as well on the way home. We had a great meeting with them, as Parents could talk and share with them many stories about the past and current lives.

Overall, Hubby and I were happy as Parents enjoyed the trip. We wish we could have more time off to take Parents to as many places as we could. We are trying our best to do that. Let's wait for the next episode ;)
